Are you passionate about cutting‑edge product development and excited by the opportunity to shape next‑generation medical technologies? We're hiring a Product Development Engineer to join a rapidly growing CDMO supporting innovative new product development (NPD) across the medical device industry.
In this role, you'll work on impactful, business‑critical projects spanning catheters, delivery systems, and capital equipment, taking designs from early concept through production. You'll collaborate across quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and program management teams-while owning key elements of design, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
- Drive mechanical design and 3D modeling for medical devices and supporting equipment
- Lead drafting, tolerance analysis, and engineering documentation
- Support rapid prototyping and fixture development
- Execute test method design, data analysis, and reporting
- Manage design changes to ensure intent is maintained and risks are understood
- Contribute to high‑visibility projects with company‑wide impact
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure product and program success
Required
- Self‑starter who can work independently and collaboratively
- Strong 3D modeling skills (SolidWorks)
- Experience with tolerance analysis
- Strong engineering test method experience
- Ability to communicate results through clear reports/documentation
- Experience in a regulated medical device environment
- Ability to plan and execute tasks to meet timelines
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Catheter design experience
- Advanced SolidWorks proficiency
- GD&T expertise
- Experience with ePDM / Agile / Enovia
- Understanding of design controls, risk management, ISO 13485, or 21 CFR 820
- Electro‑mechanical development experience
