Position Overview
The Test Engineering Technician will support engineering and R&D teams by performing verification and validation (V&V) testing, assisting in fixture/tool development, and troubleshooting electronic systems. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed verification and validation testing
- Operate and maintain test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters
- Troubleshoot complex PCBs at the component level
- Write test protocols, collect data, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Ability to read schematics, interpret Gerber files, and work with SolidWorks drawings
- MUST HAVE: Previous PCB troubleshooting experience on complex boards and soldering
- 5-10 years industry experience
