Job Description
Summary:
Production Test Technician: Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of FPA’s, Dewars, Mechanical assemblies, and Wafers. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs electrical measurements and tests from test procedures and engineering specifications
- Set up and check out test station/equipment
- Maintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results (metrics)
- Removes, replaces and assembles parts as required
- Assists engineering in developing test procedures
- Monitors consumables required to support test activities
- Maintain inventory of tooling and equipment
Knowledge and experience in the following are required:
- Mechanical and electrical concepts
- Ability to read and understand written test procedures and drawings
- ESD procedures
- Basic computer skills – Word & Excel
- ISO9001 experience desired
Education and Experience
- AS degree or equivalent experience (e.g. military training)
- 5 years experience in electronics industry
- Must be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status
