What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transitional housing monitor for clients on probation position at Reclaim-Possibility-320?

The Residential Aide provides direct oversight/monitoring members activities at the facility. They are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment following the direction of the Program Manager (PM). This includes communication and documentation, with treatment staff, of all incidents outside of program service times.

The Residential Aide may also perform any or all of the following:




  • Complete daily logs on members.
  • Provide direct oversight/monitoring of members activities at the facility.
  • Provides crisis intervention and facilitate conflict resolution. Meet with members on as needed basis.
  • Document and submit any incident reports as soon as practical and before shift ends.
  • Keep accountability of supplies distributed to members.
  • Submit shift reports at the end of every shift.
  • Overnight staff must conduct, and log bed/facility checks every two hours.
  • Maintain accountability of members at all times.
  • Maintain accurate medication logs.
  • Perform routine urinalysis on members as needed or as instructed by PM.
  • Enter therapeutic and group services in member charts.
  • Enter UA results in member Charts.
  • Assist with members intake by searching member’s personal belongings and logging them on the appropriate program logs.
  • Conduct search of resident’s personal belongings, room, and facility as needed or instructed to by PM.
  • Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to utilize analysis, experience, and judgment to make decisions.
  • Adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Work experience in working with high risk adult populations.
  • Provide services within a culturally sensitive model of practice and is respectful to the community and members.
  • CA driver’s license.
  • Must not be on active parole or probation last 3 years.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
