POSITION SUMMARY: Recycling Management Resources is seeking a Full Time Laborer for our RMR Alabama plant located in Barton, AL. The Laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Hourly pay rate: $14.00/hour. Shift Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00 am to 3:45 PM.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Performing manual material separation for processing
- Removing non-compliant materials during the sorting process
- Handling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plant
- General plant housekeeping
- Reporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- 0-2 years’ experience in an industrial environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills/Competencies:
- High awareness to safety at all times
- Ability to demonstrate proficient operation of forklift and skid steer at the time of interview
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate equipment properly and safely
- Strict adherence to OSHA and company policies.
