Evergreen Maker is a turnkey and wholesale provider of cabinets, countertops, flooring, and hardware trim fixtures. Evergreen Maker is quickly becoming an exclusive supplier for some of the largest builders in Charlotte & surrounding markets. Our company is growing rapidly, and we seek a Field Services Manager candidate to grow with us.

Position Overview

The Warehouse 2 position is a senior-level role within the warehouse team, designed for experienced professionals who are ready to take on more responsibility and leadership duties. This role involves managing day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinating deliveries, and mentoring Warehouse 1 team members. Warehouse 2 employees are expected to handle advanced tasks, including inventory oversight, scheduling, and acting as a key liaison between the warehouse and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Coordination :

Support the Operations Manager in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring team efficiency.
Provide guidance and training to Warehouse 1 employees to maintain productivity and adherence to safety standards.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating deliveries and pickups to ensure on-time and accurate distribution of materials.

2. Inventory Management :

Monitor inventory levels and assist in the organization and tracking of stock in the 26,000-square-foot warehouse.

Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Operations Manager or Purchasing Agent.

Ensure the proper storage of materials, including cabinets, countertops, and flooring, to minimize damage.

3. Equipment and Machinery Operation :

Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to safely move and organize materials.

Drive a 26-foot box truck to deliver cabinets and other materials to job sites as required.

4. Communication and Reporting :

Act as a liaison between the warehouse team and management, reporting on operational updates, inventory needs, and team performance.

Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, inventory movements, and other key activities.

5. Safety and Maintenance :

Enforce company safety policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and proper use of equipment.

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery, reporting maintenance needs as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience : 3 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.

Leadership Skills : Ability to mentor and lead less experienced team members effectively.

Equipment Proficiency : Certified forklift operator with experience driving a 26-foot box truck and using other warehouse machinery.

Must have or be able to obtain a DOT physical is a requirement for this role.

Organizational Skills : Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and ensure operational efficiency.

Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for team coordination and reporting.

Technological Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Inventory Management Systems.
