What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Supports - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Full-Time position at Red River Human Services Foundation?
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Direct Support Professional position in our Day Habilitation/Day Support Program:
Applicant's Must:
- Be able to drive (19 years old, valid driver's license, have insured vehicle, driven 2 years
- Motivated to teach
- Be dependable and reliable
- Assist people with disabilities to be independent in their activities of daily living
- Attend staff meetings
- Be able to effectively communicate with team members
- Have a positive attitude and self-directed
Applicants should be
- Comfortable assisting with personal cares
- Possible behaviors (therapeutic intervention training provided) AND
- Should enjoy participating in community activities
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
On-Call 4-5 weekends a year.
Starting wage of $18.50/hour or more DOE!
