A leading pharmaceutical client needs a Clinical Development Program Manager to support a high-priority neuroscience program. This consultant will partner with the Therapeutic Area head and cross-functional teams to shape and execute the Integrated Development Plan, ensuring alignment across all teams, development strategy, and regulatory milestones.
This role focuses on clinical development strategy, program execution, cross-functional integration, and risk management to drive disciplined delivery of a critical neuroscience asset. This is a fully-remote assignment with opportunity to extend into 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Program Lead and Clinical Science to shape and execute clinical development strategy.
- Drive patient enrollment progress, identifying risks, mitigation strategies, and opportunities to accelerate recruitment.
- Partner with Clinical Operations to address site-related challenges, including activation, performance, and operational bottlenecks.
- Lead integrated cross-functional planning and execution, ensuring program alignment
- Own program-level execution, milestone tracking, and issue resolution across functions.
- Drive risk identification, mitigation, and escalation related to clinical execution and delivery.
- Prepare program updates and materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD preferred) in life sciences or a related discipline.
- 8 years of experience in drug development program leadership, with direct exposure to clinical development execution.
- Prior Neuroscience experience
- Demonstrated experience advancing patient enrollment and site performance in clinical trials.
- Strong track record of partnering with Clinical Science and Clinical Operations teams.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-visibility programs in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
