Overview
A leading pharmaceutical company needs an experienced Drug Development Project Manager to support high-priority immunology and cardiovascular programs. This consultant will operate at the asset and/or indication level, partnering with the Global Program Lead (GPL) and cross-functional teams to drive execution of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and ensure delivery against timelines, budget, and governance expectations.
This is a 12-month assignment with strong likelihood of extension. Location is in Princeton NJ, Cambridge MA, or SSF CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional planning and execution for assigned assets and indications.
- Maintain integrated program plans in enterprise planning tools (e.g., ePlan) and detailed stage-specific timelines (MS Project/Planner).
- Track milestones, manage interdependencies, and lead risk identification and mitigation.
- Support budget and resource tracking and escalate risks or constraints as needed.
- Prepare materials for governance and leadership reviews.
- Act as a PM subject matter expert within Global Program Teams, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 8 years of drug development project or program management experience.
- Experience supporting immunology and/or cardiovascular development programs.
- Strong understanding of clinical development workflows and global regulatory milestones.
- Proven ability to lead matrixed teams and manage complex interdependencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
