What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Coordinator I position at Regal Rexnord?

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing daily mailroom operations, shipping and receiving logistics, and providing backup support for both administrative and facilities functions. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving / Mailroom Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
  • Package and ship outgoing items according to company and carrier standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain logs for deliveries and pickups.
  • Ensure mailroom and safety supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

Backup Administrative Support:

  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and office supply orders.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized office environment.

Backup Facilities Support:

  • Assist with coordination of facility services such as repairs, and vendor access.
  • Monitor common areas and report facility-related issues.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety and building procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or administrative training is a plus.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in mailroom, shipping/receiving, facilities, or administrative support.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic shipping equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
