About this Opportunity: Regency Centers is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. The Capital Markets Analyst will provide analytical support to and work in conjunction with Regency’s Director – IR / Corporate Analysis and SVP – Capital Markets, to support Regency’s investor relations and capital markets programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Timely preparation of quarterly and annual reporting requirements to investors, preparation of the quarterly supplemental, business update presentation, earnings press release and coordination with the SEC team on required filings and disclosure
Provide analytical support to SVP – Capital Markets on quarterly and ad-hoc Capital Markets projects
Assist in the preparation of all press releases in a timely and accurate manner as well as preparation of PowerPoint presentations for investors, bankers, and rating agencies
Assist in quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc deliverables required for Board of Directors reporting
Coordinate logistics for investor events, meetings, tours and conferences, including investor days and bank meetings
Maintain the company’s Investor Relations website, including coordinating all changes and updates and uploading required documents
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate or related field required
Prior experience in finance or real estate preferred, but not required
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency with Adobe software programs
Strong quantitative and analytical skills including knowledge of financial models and Excel formulas
Knowledge of and interest in capital markets, including equity and debt markets
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and related concepts preferred
Personal Characteristics:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as writing and presentation skills
Priority setting, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently on the majority of tasks
