For more information, please visit RegencyCenters.com. About this Opportunity: Regency Centers is seeking a Leasing Representative to join our regional office located in Boca Raton, Florida. This individual will implement Regency standard leasing procedures to identify and close small shop leasing deals (new & renewal) under the direction of others. Key Responsibilities: Identify and source qualified prospects to lease and occupy available space in new and existing shopping centers/developments through cold calling, canvassing, prospecting and the utilization of lead generating software systems. Assist with leasing new vacant space. Renew existing tenants’ leases to achieve maximum revenues while improving or maintaining tenant retention and satisfaction. Generate production/activity reports through Deal Connect. Prepare strategic plans, abstract leases and work on marketing strategies with the marketing department to enhance merchandising. Receive feedback and on-the-job training and education. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Real Estate from an accredited university At least one (1) year of experience in real estate leasing, property management, or related field Knowledge of the retail leasing industry and of lease or sales contract terminology Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office software, email and Internet research functionality Understands P&L statements, credit reports and balance sheet information Quantitative and analytical skills Ability to travel occasionally within the surrounding area Preferred: Knowledge of local real estate market and local broker/landlord community Real estate salesperson license Personal Characteristics:Sales and negotiation skills Customer focus skills and ability to build rapport, develop relationships, and use humor as appropriate Strong verbal and written communication skills Priority setting, goal oriented, decisiveness, organization and time-management skills Problem solving skills Acts with integrity and trustworthiness Benefits: We recognize people as our most valuable asset.
