ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Utility Worker performs several kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Qualifications

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…

Perform under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Set up the dish and pot washing area.

Prepare for dish washing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils.

Distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils.

Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.

Empty trash containers as required.

Maintain standards for personal appearance and cleanliness.

Maintain safe and sanitary conditions.

Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.

Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Can work in a quick variance of hot and cold temperatures from ovens to freezers.

Can carry up to 50 lbs. independently and be able to push and pull bus/tray carts.

Can bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the workday.

Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.

Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
