What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Scientist- DNA Core position at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Scientist to join the DNA Core facility provides Regeneron laboratories with services necessary for conducting scientific research. These services include, but not limited to, Nucleic Acid isolation and purification, Sanger DNA Sequencing, Cloning, Gene Expression and Genotyping. You will contribute to technology development by conducting experiments, leading to process improvements.
As an Associate Scientist in the DNA Core, a typical day may include the following:
Conducting basic laboratory work including pipetting, culturing, and qPCR
Working with automated systems including robotic liquid handlers
Working with a LIMS database
Maintaining the laboratory and laboratory equipment as needed
Analyzing experimental data and assessing quality

To be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS in chemical biology, biochemistry, or a related field and 0-2 years of relevant research experience. Must have hands-on experience with various molecular biology techniques including qPCR, molecular cloning, etc. Experience with liquid handlers is strongly preferred. Must have extensive hands-on experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range (annually)
Salary : $69,300 - $108,500
