Essential Functions
- Responsible for performing maintenances in an efficient manner.
- Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
- Willingness to learn and be teachable.
- Actively involved in learning processes in:
- Performing Maintenances on Various Residential equipment
- At times assisting other Team Members in the installation of compressors, Evaporator coils and various jobs.
- Be able to work independently on your own in a timely manner.
- Completion of daily assignments and checklist for maintenances assigned.
- Interact with Customers in a positive way.
- Available to work occasional Saturdays or Sundays.
- Participate in all company sponsored training classes.
- Work in and maintain a safe working environment.
- High School Diploma or GED
- EPA Certification required
- 1-2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry as an apprentice
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must possess team spirit, and be able to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering, and out of doors services.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Technical and mechanical competence
- Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching (including overhead), climbing ladders/stairs and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Environment: Work in varying temperatures including non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures
- Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Schedule: Must be available to work nights and weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
- Visual Abilities: Must be able to correctly differentiate between colors
- Other: Must be proficient in the use of smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices
