Rink Supervisor For New Hampshire'S Only Rollerskating Rink

Summary of Position:

A Supervisor, Rink Operations oversees the daily operation of the front end operations at REMIX Skate and Event Center and reports to our Rink Manager! This position supports Management and is responsible for all skating rink operations, including maintaining, staffing and running the following areas front end desk & check ins, skate floor management, skate rental operations, preparing for all classes, groups, events and birthday parties.

The Supervisor, Rink Operations is keeping the day-to-day operations on pace and to expectations, all while maintaining a positive morale and team environment. For our staff, our Supervisor, Rink Operations sets clear expectations, answers questions, and follows up to ensure a job well done. For our guests, our Supervisor, Rink Operations answers questions, reacts quickly, and maintains a proactive approach to customer service and hospitality.

Supervisor, Rink Operations maintains our front end store operations in all aspects. A Supervisor helps ensure and maintain an engaged, productive staff, efficient daily workflow, and high cleaning standards. A Supervisor, Rink Operations also typically helps with supply ordering, staff training, and maintenance projects in the Rink.

Duties:

• Works hand in hand with all Supervisors ensure seamless store operations
• Assists in Training front end supervisors and leadership team
• Open/Close the building to appropriate standards
• Assists in bookings, and keeps event calendar full and fluid each week
• Trains & builds relationships with front end store staff to meet all expectations
• Coaching and Redirecting to keep employees meeting expectations
• Works with Rink Manager to maintain all operational standards and improvements
• Oversees occasional entertainment, DJ, and Security personnel as needed
• Works with staff to build environment of trust and effectiveness in a family atmosphere

• Administration (phone calls, emails, other forms of customer correspondence)
• Electronic Tools (POS, Checklists, Project managing, etc.)
• Coaching/Mentoring staff (training to our standards, etc)
• Cleaning
• Party Directing (check-ins, training, follow up, problem solving, etc.)
• Opening/Closing Store
• Marketing Efforts (Social Media messaging, event execution, etc.)
• Retail (inventory, stocking, restocking, merchandising)
• Other various special projects

Cleaning Requirements

At REMIX, we expect Supervisor, Rink Operations to lead by example. The same cleaning expectations we lay out for a party pro are also expected of A Supervisor, Rink Operations when the need arises. A Supervisor, Rink Operations will be expected to…

• Maintain bathrooms
• Replace trash barrels
• Maintain family bathroom/changing areas
• Restock cleaning supplies
• Mop and sweep large sections
• Life, move, reposition furniture to ensure cleanliness
• Scrub-clean various surfaces
• Have work be inspected routinely for optimal results

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be on feet continuously during shift
• Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently
• Ability to jump, crawl, slide through equipment for safety checks
• Ability to work on hands and knees
• Ability to speak clearly and confidently
• Ability to climb ladders

Qualifications

• Have leadership qualities
• 5 Years of direct management experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check with no concerns
• Reference check(s)
