DUTIES:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders
- Perform medical imaging tests to evaluate the auditory system
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding hearing loss and treatment options
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive devices
- Administer tests to determine the extent of hearing loss and recommend appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
REQUIREMENTS:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.)
- Valid state license or certification as an Audiologist
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting test results
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for performing medical procedures
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the auditory system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals
SKILLS:
- Medical imaging: Ability to perform and interpret medical imaging tests related to the auditory system
- Diagnostic evaluation: Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders
