What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Manager position at RESOLVE MARINE GROUP, INC?

The Commercial Manager oversees Resolve’s commercial activities including business development, marketing, tendering for projects, contract management and commercial oversight of salvage and wreck removal projects worldwide. Work is performed in close coordination with regional offices and other departments within the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Independently develop commercial offers for small to medium size projects, coordinating with the assets and operations divisions.
- Work with bid teams to develop creative commercial / pricing strategies.
- Negotiate and manage Client contracts and Subcontractor Agreements.
- Supervise the project coordinators’ and commercial coordinators’ project and office-based workload with respect to cost control, billing, and subcontractor management.
- Work closely with legal counsel (internal / external) on all contractual and legal matters related to salvage and wreck contracts.
- Maintain close coordination with the company’s financial team to understand and present revenue / profit status throughout the year.
- Participate as a rotating On-Call Commercial Duty Offer to field Emergency Response calls.
- Act as the primary point of contact for shipowners and insurance companies in the event of an Emergency Response event.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships in the insurance and shipping industries.
- Manage and develop third party and subcontractor network.
- Obtain and share market intelligence industry news.
