- We are seeking to fill a Full and part time Mammogram Technologist positions
- Technologist must be willing to travel to other Centrelake Imaging & Oncology locations for training
- Technologist will perform mammogram including but not limited to:
- Positioning and instructing the patient, operates imaging equipment and determines the technical factors
- Ensures correct marking/labeling of all images
- Provides and confirms proper documentation of procedures requested/performed, patient history, etc. to assist in diagnosis
- Performs the setup and acquisition of prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures
- Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed
- Obtains and verifies physician order
- Performs room cleanup
- Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements as indicated
- Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notify appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance
- Ensures the efficient operation and workflow of the department by scheduling and re-evaluating workflow throughout the day
- Prepares and maintains accurate documentation
- Maintains accurate department data for reporting purposes
