Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our team.. We are looking for a part time teacher who is willing to float in various classrooms from infant-school-age . Hours will be from 2:30-6:30pm Monday-Friday. we are also looking for a teacher for various hours M-F. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are committed to providing a positive learning environment.
Experience:
-experience working in a classroom or daycare setting is preferred but will train.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies
- Experience providing childcare services, including babysitting and nannying
- A strong understanding of child development and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills:
- Experience working with children, including babysitting and nannying
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to provide first aid and basic care
- Familiarity with classroom setup and organization
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Ability to manage student behavior and promote positive classroom dynamics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- First aid certification is an asset
Job Type: Part-time
