Our multi-family Apartment Community in Lake Charles, LA, is looking for an Assistant Community Manager to join our fast-growing team. Prior property management and OneSite experience are required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Community Manager in maintaining the multi-family property.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities.
- Manage and delegate tasks to other staff members.
- Respond effectively to telephone inquiries and generate prospective resident visits.
- Show and demonstrate apartments to prospective residents.
- Conduct periodic market surveys.
- Verify all applicants and income verification in accordance with LIHTC Compliance standards.
- Perform move-in inspections with new residents.
- Review welcome packets with new residents.
- Input daily activity on daily and vacancy reports.
- Assist with resident service requests and resident problems and complaints.
- Assist with the planning of community activities and events.
- Maintain account records and journals and make bank deposits.
- Help prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist with legal action for evictions, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience with a property management company in a position equal in responsibility to that of an Assistant Manager, receiving satisfactory performance evaluations.
- OneSite Experience preferred.
- LIHTC property experience is a PLUS!
