Key Responsibilities:
As a Make Ready Technician, you'll handle a variety of tasks, including:
- Inspecting vacated apartments and completing make-ready checklists.
- Preparing units for tours and new residents, including lock changes, move-out inspections, trash removal, and scheduling vendors as needed.
- Changing A/C filters and performing essential painting tasks.
- Tracking and completing service requests for occupied and vacant apartments, office spaces, and amenities.
- Performing timely repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, and more.
- Maintaining the building and common areas daily.
- Operating and maintaining work order systems, logs, and other records.
- Displaying a friendly and courteous attitude toward residents and team members.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- 2 years of maintenance experience and/or training.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Proficiency in all areas of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, flooring, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools/spas, roofs, and life safety equipment.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as needed.
- HVAC or EPA certification (preferred).
- Pool operation and maintenance experience (preferred).
- Availability to rotate in an "on-call" capacity to address maintenance needs.
