The Ridge is looking for a highly motivated and energetic professional to join our group fitness team.

PURPOSE:
- To provide a safe and inclusive community fitness class, designed for all ages, demographics, and experience levels
- To assist participants with their fitness goals in a group fitness format
- To assist Ridge Athletic Clubs in maintaining a clean and welcoming facility
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Certification:
Certification:
- CPR/AED certification or higher within the first 90 days of employment
- Certification as a group exercise instructor from a Nationally-recognized program
- Specialty certification in Barre or Pilates
Skills/Knowledge:
- Be familiar with the most current and up-to-date techniques for health and safety
- Showcase the ability to teach to all levels of experience and provide modifications and options for varying skill levels, ages, and demographics
- Be motivational, encouraging, dynamic and engaging
- Possess great customer service and strong communication skills
- Enforce Ridge guidelines
Physical Requirements:
- Demonstrate proper technique
- The ability to perform the following movements with ease: bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and stretching
- The ability to perform the movements specifically required for your format
Availability:
- Mornings/afternoons
