What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Instructor position at Ridgefield Academy?
Ridgefield Academy/Landmark Preschool seeks dedicated and energetic instructors to lead an engaging, safe, and fun program for our summer campers. We offer several programs for children from Preschool to 8th grade. With each program week focusing on a different theme, you can share your enthusiasm and creativity to provide a memorable and formative experience for every child!
Duties
- In this position, you will lead and participate in all camp activities while providing a fun and safe environment for all campers.
- You will communicate with parents to inform them of the camper's experience and collaborate with the Auxiliary Program Director to ensure programming aligns with Ridgefield Academy’s mission and program expectations.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must have previous experience caring for children in preschool to 8th grade and demonstrate strong leadership and communication.
- We are looking for flexible and creative instructors who can jump in and work with autonomy.
Program Hours: Monday- Friday 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM
Position Dates: June 17-July 26
Summer Weeks: June 17-21, June 24-28, July 1-3, July 8-12, July 15-19-, July 22-26
This position is seasonal and paid hourly at a competitive rate of $18-$24 per hour.
