Job Description:
Pay Rate $14.00 - $16.00 per hour plus weekend pay differential
Shifts: ALL SHIFTS- 4-12 hours long - in need of Days
Location: Levittown, PA and surrounding areas
Responsibilities of the Personal Caregiver for Elderly
- Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.
- Responsibilities may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Primarily work in the client's place of residence.
- Travel is required.
- Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.
- Be willing to work with Hospice patients
- Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, insured automobile, and personal transportation
- Minimum 1 years of professional home care experience
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick
- Enjoy spending time with seniors!
- TB test- PPD or QuantiFERON (both within the past year) or ChestXray (within the past 5 years) **Preferred**
