Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, document analysis, use cases, and workflow analysis
- Translate business needs into clear, structured functional and non-functional requirements
- Collaborate with business users to design, build, and iterate on dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights
- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and visual concepts to guide development efforts
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment
- Validate solutions by testing functionality, data accuracy, and reporting logic
- Troubleshoot issues related to data sources, calculations, and visualizations
- Facilitate stakeholder review sessions, collect feedback, and manage iterations
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and root causes
- Recommend enhancements to tools, reports, and processes based on user experience and data insights
- Develop presentations and visual materials to support communication and decision-making
- Create and manage service tickets, tracking progress with internal and external support teams
- Maintain thorough documentation including requirements, mock-ups, test cases, and feedback
- Stay current with advancements in legal technology, reporting tools, and IT practices to support automation and modernization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within legal, professional services, or regulated environments
- Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or data visualization initiatives
- Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong understanding of data models, DAX, and Power Query
- Experience creating mock-ups and wireframes using tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- High attention to detail with a focus on usability and data integrity
- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages
- Exposure to legal technology or professional services environments
- Litigation-related experience or background
