The Staffing Scheduler/Coordinator is vital to the success of our senior living communities, especially our nursing departments. You will have the opportunity to maintain staff schedules and plug holes where needed. You’ll be the point of contact when people need the flexibility of calling off of a shift. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNA or CMA to better understand the needs of the staff and our residents, but this is not required.

Primary job opportunities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensure department schedules are complete and adjust as needed
  • Coordinate with managers to determine staffing levels and needs
  • Support in the onboarding of new associates to ensure successful new hire process
  • Cultivate PRN pool to cover area communities as needed
  • Develop metrics to determine appropriate staffing levels and needs
  • Receive call-offs from staff and adjust schedule accordingly
  • Work with management to determine future needs based on paid time off requests

Requirements

Ideally candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, but we’re also excited to consider candidates that have translatable skills as well.
