Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing guests with chip service from the cage.
- Assisting guests with seating.
- Assisting Poker Dealers and Poker Room Supervisors in the starting, combining, and
breaking of Poker games. - Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but
not limited to the state and federal laws and the IGB regulations.. - Ability to maintain high levels of productivity.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, including the collection of chip trays and
returning them to designated areas. - Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board
Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers
Casino – Des Plaines ICS.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Must be 21 years of age or more.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. - Must be able to identify colors.
- Frequently required to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Salary : $34,400 - $43,500
