Growing manufacturing company in north Oklahoma City is seeking an Accounting Manager to add to their team! This role will report directly to the CEO and has huge room to grow within the company.
The Accounting Manager will have three direct reports and will oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as managing the GL work, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close in addition to financial statement preparation. The Accounting Manager will also be involved in inventory accounting and limited duties in sales tax, while having the opportunity to work on special projects to include assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements
- Proven technical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
- 3 years of recent relevant financial experience
- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
- Month end closings experience highly preferred
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- General familiarity with budget forecasting
- General ledger experience desired
- Practical knowledge of financial statement preparation
- Full Cycle Payroll experience preferred
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting
- Adeptness in Annual Inventory
