We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Turlock, California. This role is in the agriculture industry and provides a contract to hire employment opportunity. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices from vendors, responding to vendor inquiries, and assisting with the preparation and maintenance of various reports.Responsibilities: • Process and match vendor invoices and statements, ensuring the accuracy of information• Utilize the chart of accounts and various organizational levels to code invoices• Match invoices to purchase orders and route invoices to appropriate personnel for approval as needed• Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors as approved by the treasury manager• Research accounts to resolve discrepancies with vendors• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of various reports in Excel and SAP• Provide assistance to vendors as needed, both in person and over the telephone• Check and tabulate data, performing various routine clerical duties such as typing and filing• Accurately maintain records and files • Handle high volume of invoices and payments in a timely manner• Operate a computer, calculator and other common office equipment effectively• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions• Perform procedures in an organized, accurate and timely manner• Prioritize and perform all tasks in order to meet assigned deadlinesSkills: • Accounts Payable (AP)• Check Runs• Coding Invoices• Data Entry• Invoice Processing• Microsoft Excel• SAP
