This role involves managing accounts payable within an industry setting, establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of bills and payroll. Responsibilities:• Analyzing and optimizing workflow processes within the accounts payable department• Establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing vendors to ensure smooth financial transactions• Ensuring timely and accurate payment of bills and payroll in adherence to departmental procedures• Processing due invoices for payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges to prevent discrepancies• Performing various accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts• Using accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable for separate entities and vendors• Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
