Description

We are providing a unique opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. This role is based in downtown Memphis, Tennessee and offers a contract employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of a team that supports various HR departments, handling a wide range of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to HR departments, including handling POs and invoices.
  • Serve in rotation to cover the HR office front desk, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Utilize Workday for various HR-related tasks, leveraging prior experience if available.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team, one of the busiest teams within HR.
  • Manage catering, scheduling meeting rooms, and ordering office supplies, ensuring the office environment is well-maintained and organized.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform data entry tasks and manage email correspondence efficiently.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks.
  • Schedule appointments, ensuring all meetings are well-coordinated.
  • Assist in Human Resources (HR) Administration, contributing to the smooth functioning of the HR department.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration.
  • Proven ability to handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage email correspondence efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience with scheduling appointments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Workday platform is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proven reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
