We are in search of an Assistant Controller to join our team based in Newport Beach, California. This position is within the Worker's Compensation Managed Care industry. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for various accounting functions, including the preparation of 10K and 10Q reports, SEC filing and reporting, and the use of QuickBooks Online and Excel. This role will be predominantly remote, requiring only occasional office visits.Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Prepare financial reports including 10K and 10Q reports • Handle SEC filing and reporting procedures• Manage and update financial records using QuickBooks Online and Excel• Participate in budgeting processes and perform regular auditing• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline processes• Manage ADP - Financial Services • Work with Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting functions• Ensure all financial transactions and processes comply with company policies and legal regulations
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
