Exciting opportunity to join a well-respected boutique law firm in New Orleans as a Billing Specialist! This role will over see all A/R, billing, and collections functions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who excels working in a team setting, with a strong desire to learn and grow. In office everyday with paid parking and a well-tenured team to support the role and provide for long term career growth.Everyday you will get to:• Oversee the billing function from start to finish• Work with partners and administrative teams to apply time and billing• Serve as primary point of contact for clients on billing inquiries• Provide any necessary backup or additional information to assist with collections• Monitor and follow-up on invoices after being mailed or emailed, including assisting with any adjustments/disputes, monitoring aging, and sending out reminders of outstanding balances• Process client payments on a daily basis and apply payments to client accounts• Process payments into and out of the Firm’s trust and escrow accounts• Ensure that the Firm’s policies and procedures related to billing and collections are adhered to• Research and answer billing questions for attorneys, secretaries, and clientsRequired Competencies:• Prior experience in a high volume billing environment requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Ability to multi-task and juggle tight deadlines• Law firm billing experience very strongly preferred• Experience with Coyote Analytics strongly preferred• Ability to utilize the Firm’s other systems, especially Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat• Excellent oral and written communication skillsFor confidential consideration please apply directly and thank you for your interest in Robert Half!
