Robert Half has an opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the manufacturing industry with our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As the Collections Specialist, your primary role will be to handle various aspects of our customer credit and collections processes. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Handle inbound and outbound collections calls to facilitate debt recovery• Conduct all billing and reporting activities within set deadlines• Respond to and resolve all vendor inquiries promptly and professionally• Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity and accuracy• Follow up on all past due amounts and record all results in the system• Record all customer payments to the correct reports using Microsoft Excel• Utilize your skills in Billing Functions and Collection Processes to streamline operations• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with customers• Use your knowledge as a Collector to improve the efficiency of our collections processes• Leverage your skills in credit management to maintain healthy customer credit accounts
