Controller

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Kent, Washington. This role will be instrumental in supporting the CFO and will be responsible for managing a team within our organization. The Controller will have a significant role in enhancing our financial and accounting operations within the industry. Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to the CFO for all financial and accounting activities
• Managing a dynamic team and facilitating their growth within the organization
• Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient financial operations
• Overseeing accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conducting audits and managing general ledger activities
• Participating in budget processes and ensuring financial compliance
• Preparing financial statements and conducting financial statement audits
• Implementing and managing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP solutions
• Handling ADP - Financial Services and DCAA procedures
• Leveraging expertise in financial statement preparation for accurate reporting.
  
  

The salary range for this position is $140k to $160k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 4% match and 10 days of paid vacation, 15 days of paid sick leave and 15 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of DCAA compliance and regulations
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Ability to implement and manage ERP Solutions
• Proven experience in managing Accounting Functions
• Track record in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Auditing practices and principles
• Experience in managing Budget Processes
• Knowledge of General Ledger accounting procedures
• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements
• Experience in conducting Financial Statement Audits
• Proven skills in Financial Statement Preparation.
