We are in the process of recruiting a Customer Service Representative based in Albany, New York, United States. This role is in the industry and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for answering inbound and outbound calls and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records
• Handle customer inquiries in a detail oriented, friendly, and timely manner
• Take appropriate action in monitoring customer accounts
• Respond to inbound and outbound call inquiries and follow-up with previous contacts
• Perform support ticket transaction resolution tasks and carry out administrative functions
• Create and maintain excellent documentation of all calls, questions, and complaints
• Develop and maintain adequate records/documentation for audit and internal control purposes
• Route mail, email, and carry out other assigned administrative support duties
• Learn program rules of assigned projects to ensure the ability to respond to customer service inquiries
• Develop an excellent working knowledge of operating platforms required to fulfill job responsibilities.• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role is required
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls is necessary
• Experience in a call center customer service environment is essential
• Demonstrated ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy is needed
• Experience handling email correspondence in a detail oriented setting is required
• Knowledge of both inbound and outbound call handling is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required
• Experience with order entry is essential
• Efficient and accurate scheduling of appointments is required
