Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Financial Business Analyst to join a growing company.. You will oversee financial modeling on multiple financial products and measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans in this role. You will be charged with advising management on the allocation of resources to accomplish objectives in a timely manner and preparing reports for management. You will join a dynamic team as a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, is based in the Piscataway, New Jersey, area. We seek someone who has internal drive and strong potential for professional growth and development.What you get to do every day- Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting- Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans- Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required- Execute and monitor forecasting reports- Study performance to date and examine potential risks and opportunities- Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support- Perform extensive research on the underlying internal and external drivers that are affecting performance and trending- This position would best fit a flexible individual who has experience managing expectations and feels comfortable working with a large amount of information- Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization- Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations- Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
