Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Adam Wood with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is assisting a high growth AI start-up with their search for an experienced, hands-on FP& A Manager with strong financial modeling and analytical skills to join their Las Vegas based team. This is a Las Vegas based (hybrid) position. This role reports directly to the EVP of Finance and will play a key role in building and scaling the company’s financial planning and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has prior startup or high-growth company experience, preferably in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or cloud-based industries, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Advanced Excel and multi-scenario modeling capabilities are required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead company-wide financial planning processes, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Build and maintain multi-scenario financial models to support strategic decision making in an IaaS environment.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
• Develop management reporting packages and KPI dashboards for internal stakeholders and investors.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization (Sales, Engineering, Operations) to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment of financial goals.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Support financial due diligence and reporting for fundraising, board meetings, and external audits.
• Continuously improve financial processes and tools to support scalability and operational excellence.
  

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP& A or corporate finance, including 2 years in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Prior exposure to IaaS, cloud infrastructure, or related technology industries is highly desirable.
• Advanced expertise in Excel, including proficiency in multi-scenario financial modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Demonstrated skills in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Strong ability to connect financial insights with operational drivers and strategic initiatives.
• Proven capability to excel in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
