We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry, based in MOUNT PROSPECT, Illinois, 60056-6041, United States. This role involves working in a team environment, supporting 150 employees, and weekly travel to their Lake Villa, IL office location.Responsibilities:• Triage of help desk tickets, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.• Participate in the onboarding process, setting up computers, providing new users with access to apps, and getting them up and running.• Continuously improve your technical skills and knowledge, with a focus on popular software tools and Active Directory.• Be proactive in training employees on new software and processes, providing reinforcement where necessary.• Maintain a high level of initiative, regularly bringing new ideas to the table.• Use your experience with popular office apps to train users, helping them to become more efficient.• Maintain a flexible working schedule, which may include coming in a little early or as late as 9:00 AM.• Participate in off-hours and overtime work on a rotational basis: one week on, three weeks off for on-call duty.• Ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications.• Maintain accurate customer credit records.• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action, as necessary.
