A leading manufacturing firm is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including timecard adjustments and compliance with payroll regulations.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, providing guidance to management and staff on legal compliance.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals.
- Provide support and guidance in employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and participate in recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Conduct training sessions on labor laws, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Maintain HR records and reporting in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and best practices in human resources management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; candidates without a degree will also be considered.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and timecard management.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Experience with workers' compensation processes and compliance.
- SHRM Certification required; equivalent certifications will be considered.
- Experience working with labor attorneys and understanding of legal aspects of HR.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
