Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing inventory processes and ensuring the accurate tracking of materials and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining organized records and supporting operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking and availability of materials.
• Conduct regular physical inventory checks and annual audits to verify stock counts.
• Collaborate with assembly line teams to ensure timely supply of required materials.
• Track and record asset inventory using established systems and protocols.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with vendors for timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and shipments.
• Generate reports and documentation related to inventory management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory processes.
• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Familiarity with assembly line operations and material handling.
• Proficiency in inventory tracking systems and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct physical inventory checks and audits.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of purchase order preparation and vendor coordination.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
