Your responsibilities
- Support optimal machine performance by troubleshooting simple problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, etc.)
- Chronicle, stack, and/or distribute mail and packages
- Check in and sort all incoming mail and packages from various carriers
- Schedule employees complete diverse projects as necessary
- Manage mail processing equipment
- Steer clear of assembly errors by maintaining an organized work station
- Deliver data within allotted time frames
- Direct clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing
- Buy high volume of letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents within specified guidelines
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in mail processing at organizational level
- You'll do well at this position if you are flexible and focused
- Adept handling office equipment
- Complete general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
- Strong familiarity with Administrative Assistance
- Mailrooms experience desired
- Filing experience preferred
- 2 years of prior experience working in a high-volume mailroom setting
