Type: Contract-to-hire (CTH) – Initial 3-month contract
Start: ASAP preferred
We're looking for a Reputation Specialist to join our Digital Content Team. You’ll be a key player in launching one of the leading digital listening centers in the healthcare industry.
About the Role
This role is for a self-starter who thrives in both reactive and proactive digital work. You'll work closely with two teams, balancing real-time issue detection with community engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable monitoring listening dashboards throughout the day with a high level of focus, identifying potential risks, and escalating them as needed. You'll also use these insights to find opportunities for positive brand conversations and meaningful engagement with online audiences.

- Monitor listening dashboards and topic profiles, including platforms like Meltwater and Sprout.
- Watch for brand risks or emerging issues and escalate them in real time.

- Collaborate with partner brands and digital communities to position the brand positively.
- Respond to comments and online posts with both templated and custom replies.
- Use social media management platforms to join relevant, timely conversations.
- Explore new ways to engage with digital conversations and showcase brand values.
Ideal Candidate
- Has an equal interest in both crisis monitoring and positive community engagement.
- Is a self-starter who can work independently but also collaborate cross-functionally.
- Possesses strong digital fluency, with experience using tools like Sprout, Meltwater, or similar platforms.
- Can identify key online conversations and suggest engagement strategies.
- Remains calm under pressure, especially during crisis moments.
Preferred Backgrounds
- Experience in emergency or crisis communications, law enforcement, or the military.
- Experience in copywriting, community management, or social media engagement.
- Prior work with healthcare brands or sensitive, consumer-facing topics.
