Your responsibilities in this role
- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
- Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
- Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Requirements
- Exceptional time management skills preferred
- Knowledgeable of ERP systems
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- 3 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
- Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
- Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
- Adeptness in inventory analysis
- Journal entries experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory analysis
- General familiarity with month end closings
- Solid understanding of Daily Cash Receipts
- Practical knowledge of month end closings
- Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Form 1099 experience
- Proficiency in bank reconciliations
- Foundational knowledge in IRS W-9 Form
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
