Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional accounting skills and thrive in a team-oriented environment. This role focuses primarily on performing fundamental accounting duties, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.Essential Job Functions:Financial Allocations:Allocate financial activity to companies, locations, and modalities.Banking Functions:Prepare deposits to be sent to the bank.Record bank transactions and provide general banking support as needed.Bank Reconciliations:Prepare accurate bank reconciliations regularly.Management Reporting:Generate standard management reports on a monthly basis to aid decision-making and analysis.Transactional Reconciliation:Reconcile intercompany transactions to maintain consistency and accuracy of financial accounts.Property Tax Reporting:Prepare city personal property reports promptly and correctly.Fixed Asset Accounting:Manage responsibilities related to fixed asset accounting functions, ensuring accurate records are maintained.Cross-Department Coverage:Provide coverage for other team members as needed to uphold operations and team objectives.Other Duties as Assigned:Tackle various other tasks as assigned by management to support department goals.The salary range for this position is $65k to $70k.
