Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of the Rock’n Dough brand.
- Work with the management team towards a common goal of success every shift!
- Great all guest with a genuine smile and happiness!
- Coordinate seating each guest as quickly as possible with a proper and fair procedure.
- Ensure guest are comfortable with choice of table and section and deliver menus with suggestions.
- Give excellent, above and beyond service to our guests by monitoring and observing their dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
- Master the menu and facility and be able to answer questions about each food item, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services such as ingredients and preparation.
- Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy!
- Describe and recommend our craft beer, cocktail menu and wine selection to guests.
- Maintain a clean and presentable restaurant.
- Handle cash transactions and keep track of the to-go register.
- Pre-bus to keep the restaurant from over cluttering.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where ever needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out the trash, and checking and cleaning bathrooms.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures and functions
- Basic mathematical skills
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver containers weighing up to 25 pounds
Above and beyond
- Years in a restaurant environment
- ServSafe certification.
- Knowledge of Aloha point of sale system.

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour

Weekly day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
