A well-recognized construction company is seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator to join their team! The person in this role will sit on a team of 3 helping to prepare weekly payroll for 950 employees using Paychex. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of payroll experience, is tech-savvy specifically within Excel, and has a good work ethic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations
- Maintain employee records and update payroll information as needed
- Calculate and process employee benefits, deductions, and taxes
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and payroll changes
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or related field
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in using payroll software, such as Paychex or similar systems
- Experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes, including account reconciliation, debits, credits, and tax calculations
- Excellent analytical skills to analyze data and identify discrepancies or errors
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing payroll information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
