Job Summary:
Route 128 Honda is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Reading, Massachusetts. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing a team of sales professionals to maximize revenue and profitability. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, commission-only position with a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $250,000 per year. Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the sales team’s performance to ensure sales goals and targets are met or exceeded
- Create and implement sales strategies to increase market share and generate revenue
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify potential customers and potential areas for growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Train and develop sales team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
- Track and report sales metrics to upper management
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and marketing, to align sales strategies and initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the auto industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
