JOB SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Test Engineers and Engineering Lead, the position will support various processes across the floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Testing products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance.
• Examining and investigating specific aspects and components of products in question.
• Compiling reports on findings and testing data gathered.
• Providing recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintaining lab and testing equipment regularly.
• Discussing findings with other team members.
• Implementing changes in testing protocols as required.
• Consulting with senior management about testing results.
• Reporting any issues through the appropriate channels.
• Recommending technical and procedural additions to test processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of an AA degree or certificate from a technical school preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in lieu of an academic degree.
• 2 years of direct experience working in automated assembly involving all or some of the following processes: SMT, through hole, adhesive dispense, automated assembly, ultrasonic welding.
• Hands on experience with optimizing processes and automated equipment
• Strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
